Description
Recently, several organizations had been studying quality and quality assurance for different delivery modes (ENQA, etc.), especially those related to blended and distance learning. The rapid changes in this domain and the increasing use of new technologies made this subject a topic of interest for Lebanese higher education. Several partner universities had already established units to monitor the new modes of learning.
This work package aimed to shed light on the quality issues related to the new modes of learning in general. It started with a bibliographical study of the existing literature and then proposed a set of recommendations to institutions regarding quality assurance in this particular context. The study and the recommendations were discussed during the roundtable and were then finalised. A common national roundtable for WP1, WP2, WP3, and WP5 was organized under WP5.
Objectives
- Perform a bibliographical study of the quality issues related to the different delivery modes
- Prepare a first set of recommendations
- Finalize the study after feedback to be collected during the first national roundtable
