The Association of Lebanese Industrialists (ALI) vision is to build a globally competitive industry. ALI represents the Lebanese industry and interprets its needs and recommendations in dealing with public institutions and other organizations in Lebanon and abroad.

ALI plays a major role in economic and social policies and is actively committed to fostering the development of Lebanese industries and supporting their response to the new challenges of global competition.

Finally, ALI is an essential partner in the LIRA program, a project aiming to link scientific research in universities to the needs of the Lebanese industrial sector.

Role in Project
The Association of the Lebanese Industrialists is one of the best interfaces to dialog with the private industrialists in Lebanon as major socio-economic players. The participation of ALI in the project allows the definition of readable descriptors of the qualifications framework and establishes a real dialog yielding the definition of accurate communication channels and processes. ALI will have different roles in the project. It will provide input to different workpackages that reflects the perspective of the socio-economic sector regarding qualifications, recognition and quality. It will also disseminate the results obtained to the Lebanese industrialists and foster the interaction between the academic world and the labour market.
