Standards for Health and Life Sciences Programmes

This work package adapted the results of WP5.1 and WP5.3 for health and life sciences programmes. The work package leader, with the support of the project management and the Association of Lebanese Industrialists, sought to involve professional bodies in this specialization of standards. Here also, the role of a National Qualifications Framework (NQF) was important. It is worth noting that the health and life sciences programmes to be involved were selected at the beginning of this work package.

Objectives

After a short bibliographical study, the core standards defined in WP5 were transformed to be specific to health and life sciences. The results will be discussed in roundtable 2. Therefore, the major objectives were:
- Customize the core standard in order to be used in the evaluation of life sciences programmes
- Discuss the results in roundtable 2 (organized specifically for this purpose
- Finalize the Health and Life Sciences standards and procedures
