This work package covered the application of standards and procedures for the evaluation of several Lebanese programmes. This was a two-phase process. The Lebanese universities first selected at least one programme each (while Lebanese University selected three) and carried out self-studies. During this phase, the Lebanese universities could rely on the support of the European partners.

Phase 2 was dedicated to the pilot evaluation, during which committees formed mainly from Lebanese partners conducted site visits to the programmes for external reviews. The European partners played the role of observers.
