Description
This work package customized the outcomes of WP5.1 and WP5.3 to engineering programmes. The workpackage leader, with the support of the project management and the Association of Lebanese Industrialists, sought to involve professional bodies in the customization of the standards. Here also, the role of a National Qualifications Framework (NQF) was important. It is worth noting that the engineering programmes to be involved were selected at the beginning of this work package.
Objectives
After a short bibliographical study, the core standards defined in WP5 were transformed to become specific to engineering programmes. The results will be discussed in roundtable 2. Therefore, the major objectives were:
- customize the core standard in order to be used in the evaluation of engineering programmes
- Discuss the results in roundtable 2 organized specifically for this purpose
- Finalize the Engineering standards and procedures
